Who We Are

We are so glad you found us and are excited to share our residency guidelines and solutions to ex-offender housing challenges. Our team works directly with inmates, loved ones, as well as release and probation officers. We offer independent-living housing for probationers, parolees, CRD-releasees, and corrections-involved persons.

Our room-for-rent solution offers a private, single-occupancy room within a shared house. Utilities and access to house amenities like the kitchen, bath, and laundry are included in the monthly rental rate.

Upgraded rooms are available as suites and offer premium amenities like en-suite bathroom, kitchenette, or private entrance. Suites may be attached or detached from the main residence. The utilities and access to house amenities are included in the monthly rental rate.

The perfect solution for couples and families is our sublets, which offer 2- and 3-bedroom homes for rent as private residences. Utilities are the responsibility of the sublet tenant.

We Provide Support

To ensure a smooth and successful transition into one of our residences, we are happy to assist new tenants to meet with their supervising officer and ensure their felony registration. We will help them secure their identification and get settled into their new home. Additionally, our community partnerships offer healthcare, educational, and employment opportunities for tenants.

How Our Process Works

For your convenience, we have created an application form that is short, free of cost, and available in several versions:

Applications are assigned to a housing specialist who will initiate contact with the Department of Corrections and other service providers. This is to assess an applicant's release plan. An offender's goals, conditions, and restrictions are all considered, which helps us house our tenants appropriately, in compliance with their sanctions, and with the approval of the Department of Corrections.

Once the Department of Corrections verifies that our proposed address meets the sanctions of the offender's sentence, that's it! We remain in communication with the DOC Release Officer and other concerning parties as we move closer to the release day. Please note that intake day at Offender Housing is typically jam-packed with checking-in at probation, felony registration, and getting identification. But no worries, we help with all that too!

"My sex offender housing restrictions limited where I could live and as my release date got closer with nowhere to go, I started to panic. My wife called Offender Housing and they were able to find an approved residence, picked me up from DOC and now my life is back on track!"
